THE IMPORTANCE OF ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

Any goal is reached through a well-laid out plan. The foundation of a successful home build or renovation starts with the design.

This is a plan, in detail that facilitates your vision and the work to be completed by the construction team. As protocol, we only proceed with a project once drawings are completed, approved and stamped. Below we are some points on why this process is important in completing any home project whether it is a custom home or renovation.

VISUALIZE YOUR HOME BEFORE IT’S BUILT.

An architectural  design allows you to see the exact floor plan of your home once it is built or renovated. This is completed and approved before we even take one step forward with construction. In our previous blog Build New or Renovate we mentioned that you work with our team of designers to include your home must-haves for your renovation, addition or custom home.

MAKE DESIRED VISUAL CHANGES PRIOR TO BREAKING GROUND

Designing a new home or space is a process. Seeing the final layout before it is built allows you to figure out what changes you’d like to make without the hassle of redirecting an entire construction team. Change walls, window sizes or even the location of your bathtub – you request it and it can be done. Get updated with every revision so that the only surprise left is how it finally comes together.

SET IT IN  3D
Looking at the final floor plan is a great visualization tool. It may be hard to differentiate between all the lines on your layout. In comes the 3D Render. A 3D render is a simulated image of what your final home or new space will be. Colours, textures and even furniture strengthen your ability to envision a room, basement or exterior of your home.
REDUCES MISTAKES MADE DURING CONSTRUCTION.

When a construction team is working on a new home build or renovation, having a floor plan is crucial. It is a guide for where to swing the hammer, tear down a wall, or create a doorway. Reducing error saves on your project timeline and budget, avoiding any detours to the plan laid out for your project.
